Wanting to do a PSA 8.6 gun, who makes a handguard to Match the upper?

I bought a gen 3 upper from PSA to do an 8.6 brace gun, what handguard is needed to mate up correctly with the psa gen 3 upper? PSA never has handguards, and above all, never short ones. The barrel is a faxon 12" 8.6 barrel. One pic on the forum showed what looked like a sampson handguard but I need to know for sure.

im assuming you’re building this off a ar10 platform and you want to know if its a high or low setup? psa uses their own proprietary upper height but dpms low works best and is not realy noticeable that it isnt perfect.

if thats not what you mean please clarify and we can try to help more.

yes that is what I’m talking about. I prefer something in m lok but would take a key mod if need be. I really dont want to have to cut down a handguard. The barrel is a faxon 12" barrel.

Look at Guntec USA. Made in the USA, and they have a 10" (or used to) dpms low handguard.

Any other places than guntec? They wont sell direct and the dealer dont carry 10"

odin works also makes killer handguards in 10 inches…
i have a 12 inch handguard on my 12.5 308 and love it.

yes the odin works are crazy expensive. Still looking for one. The gas block is .875 diameter . I didnt see any odin works 10"

Samson makes good stuff. I have an evo rail on a 300blk sbr. Problem is it isnt mlok.

Ever figure out a solution? Im in the same boat and getting tired of banging my head against waiting 2 weeks to return another upper that doesnt match up. If only PSA or LEADSTAR made a 10" handguard for their matched receiver sets.

I ended up ordering a Faxon hand guard in 10”, it’s a DPMS High profile. I snagged an Aero Precision M5 upper on a blem sale to match it.

New Frontier Armory sells a DPMS Low pattern hand guard, it’s 15” but the m-lok slots are aligned so it could be shortened? Not really ideal I know.
