Just thinking outloud while banging away on my keyboard. What if this were to pass in a Democrat majority Senate? If this got through the Democrats would be taking a step in the right direction in upholding a civil right and the US Constitution. I am not loyal, beholding or an activist for a political party. I do wonder though why this wasn’t brought up for a vote when the Republicans had the power. I hope this goes through. My two cents. Have a nice day.

In 2017, when the Republicans had the majority we were led to believe that this, along with taking suppressors off the NFA list was something on the horizon. Politics and the swamp being what they are, the Republicans magically bring this up when they know it won’t pass so they can say “well, we tried”.

IMO-The Republicans will lead you on and disappoint. They will let you down in failures and disappointments. National Reciprocity needs to get done. The Democrats could get it done. One can hope this comes into fruition. BUT-right now the Democrats are going through a psychosis and anger. The Republicans are lazy cowards. Neither side cares to come together for the betterment of the US and the US Constitution. Crazy times.

Yep. I vote for the best-worst option between the Republicans and the Democrats. I cannot vote for today’s Democratic Party. It is as if they have embraced Anti-Freedom values of Marxism and jumped head first into the abyss. Horrible choices for anybody that can read and think for themselves that believes in the Individual Liberties and Freedom.

I’d like to weigh in here and just point out that evidence suggests that it doesn’t matter what letter is after their name, they seek only two things; power and money. That’s it. From the local level to the national level. I’ve never personally met or been exposed to a single one that gives a shit about us, only power and money. The solution exists.

  1. Term limits. One and done.
  2. Drug testing
  3. Alcohol testing immediately before any official meeting or action.
  4. Place them under oath for their entire time in office and if they lie immediately remove them from office and charge them with official misconduct and perjury.
  5. Intelligence testing. If you’re too stupid to pass a basic, high school graduate level test you’re disqualified from running for office.

Until we somehow implement some or all of these changes we will continue to be screwed. I’m reminded of the expression, “You do what you always did, you get what you always got.” I predict that very soon things will change.

Since more than half of the members of Congress are millionaires, and less than 10% of the remainder of the American public are, perhaps everyone in Congress should be wearing NASCAR racing suits with their sponsors names all over the suits.

Everyone should go watch the David Chipman senate confirmation hearings from yesterday and then immediately contact your senator and demand that they vote no on his confirmation.

He is whacadoodle and then some. He was asked if he could explain what an assault weapon is and he stepped on his d%&* big time.
