Right now the Republicans piss me off more than the Democrats do. I will give it to the Democrats they will stick together and fight to the very end to get what they want or to block what they don’t want.
The Republicans won’t stick together, they won’t fight to the end to get what they want or to stop the Democrats. If your opponents don’t play by the rules and you do then you only have yourself to blame when you get your a$$ handed to you on a platter. Look at all the illegal stuff and unconstitutional stuff that the Biden Administration did. Do you remember the Republicans doing anything about it other than ■■■■■ moan and complain.? There were no injunctions for the Biden administration to stop their unconstitutional acts that came from the Republicans or conservative judges.
Trump has a mandate, he has the house and the Senate. The Republicans still can’t get their act together to even pass a real balanced budget. Liberal judges legislating from the bench stopping everything that Trump tries to do. Why didn’t the Republicans do the same thing. There are conservative Judges on the bench. Why didn’t they do exactly what the Democrats have done during the 45 term and now again in the 47 term.
I am just so fed up with the feckless, weak, scared and worthless Republicans and Rhinos. I am a conservative constitutionalist. Neither the Republicans or Democrats right now impress me at all. The Democratic party is in shambles after the election and they can still tie Trumps hands from implementing his mandate because the Republicans won’t stand behind him and pass the laws that he needs to stop these liberal judges legislating from the bench.
What do you guys think? Am I wrong or do I just not see the big picture? Am I expecting too much from my elected politicians? I fully believe in the old saying that, “there are only two types of politicians in this world, the ones that get caught and the ones that don’t. At the end of the day they are all crooked.”
You need look no further than our own Lindsey Graham, he’s appeared maybe conservative for the last 18 months to 2 years of his election cycle his entire career. Sadly, I think the percentage of a conservative veneer to keep lining their own pockets is endemic at this point and it is disappointing.
I was told long ago my a mentor, “It doesn’t matter what capital letter they have after their name, they’re gonna eff it up”. Until We The People take away the power and money from politicians nothing will change.
I wonder if we should force the implementation of Diogenesian Style Poverty mandates on our politicians, or if that would simply make the corruption worse.
Part of me would love to see our public servants have to live in the streets as they make their policy but the rational side of me thinks it would just make them more fervent to take whatever bribe or kickback they could regardless of who it hurts.
“If I could not be Alexander I would be Diogenes.”
I have always felt the GOP is more individualistic than the DNC collective mindset. It is a massive difference in process and actions. GOP can be at disadvantage because of this when you need everyone to walk the same steps, talk the same talking points and no division on issues.
Personally I will take the disadvantage over the marching in line like a lemming.
Having escaped from a “blue” state, I’m still boiling mad at the evil, malice and viciousness of the left. The “repugnicans” frustrate me with the rhinos, but they are angels compared to damnedrats.
Repulicans. Democrats are the open Enemy and I EXPECT them to Do Enemy Stuff. R’s are SUPPOSED to be on our side! Yet a big chunk of 'em openly collaborate with the enemy and another big chunk soil themselves in stark terror of somebody thinking not-nice things about them…
Why do you think career politicians so thoroughly hate those that aren’t (like Trump?) Doesn’t take much to connect the dots there.
Lastly, “career politician” shouldn’t be a thing. It shouldn’t pay much, and any time a sitting politician gets rich, it needs to get thoroughly looked at and audited HEAVILY. The entire system is corrupt, and that means pretty much everyone in it on both sides.
Electing Democrats is like sitting down in the bonfire. You knew it was a bad idea that was going to cause pain and misery before you ever did it, yet still you took a seat.
Electing Republican(’ts) is like walking into an uncharted minefield - that you have no choice but to cross. You never know if your next step (i.e. next legislator) will be the one that blows up under foot.
Because DemocratsFellow Travelers will Absolutely lie and put that R next to their name, just to further the cause of Equal Misery for All.
