What's Up With Matt Hoover / CRS Firearms?

Don’t worry – I’m no snowflake.

We’ve had differing opinions before, I respect differing opinions. It offers me two options, either hone my discussion skills or learn. There may be some bubbling around here that seem to struggle with that concept.

Definitely…

??

IIRC it is not the correct size, its scaled down from what would be needed to work.

regarding what you two are discussing, I too have pretty thick skin, and dont get offended that easily. I do also want to say I hope that you guys realize that unless its a personal attack i usually view the more heated discussions as a heated discussion that hopefully both sides can grow from instead of being offended. IF there is any time people that get offended then the discussion needs to stop or change, or both really.

I’ve found a lot of folks have a hard time knowing the difference between differing opinions and emotional feelings that they are being attacked personally. Part of our jobs here as moderators are to make sure that the discussions here stay away from being personal attacks. Sometimes that is hard to tell the difference lol, but we do try.

back to the topic –

I don’t like ARF.com, don’t have a user ID over there, but I dropped in over there today to see what they were saying about the case. Here’s the thread:

Someone over there claims that the image on the card he was selling was 25% too small to even work properly, which might explain why the Bureau couldn’t even get it to work when they tried to do it. I wonder if MH and the other guy were aware that their novelty item wasn’t even the proper size to work as intended. That would have been a great defense – “we purposefully made it to small to actually perform it’s stated purpose, so we’re not guilty of selling machineguns, we’re guilty of fraud (but you didn’t charge us with fraud).”

That guy goes back to an interesting concept. Years ago, you were just as guilty if you bought some kind of cookbook thing only to know what some kind of clown was bringing at you as if you were the clown themself.

I don’t follow.

The thought police post.

I honestly have no idea…

still don’t follow

Watch Minority Report

I wish you guys would stop being cryptic, man up and say what’s on your mind. I don’t want to play guessing games trying to figure out what you’re too timid to say out loud.

Timid?

Please.

I don’t think we can be more straightforward.

You’re just not getting it.

Some look as thoughts as actual action, and prosecution follows.

Oh, sorry – the Orwellian thoughtcrime thing isn’t what I was referring to. They recycled that as the precognition motif in Minority Report. I got it. You were replying to the video, I was replying to someone else’s quote. It seems you thought that I was referring to you when I wasn’t. Sorry for being unclear.

I’m still trying to figure out what the heck that clown with a book reference was all about. Maybe I’m just dense. Rufus, buddy – can you help me out? 3rd time, if I don’t get it this time around I’ll just give up.

Mostly what @TheAirHawk said pretty much. Is it a huge flex to intimidate all the brace owners into submission with registering?
Having gone through some things in my family that none should have to go through, there is a huge difference between witness prep and jurors being subject to the equivalent of watching a soap opera. Expert witnesses aside of course.

Then there is “intent” and the definition of

I believe those jury instructions are pushing the limit, and could very well be overturned on appeal

Not that it helps Matt

I dont understand why this guy would sell these in the first place… working or not. It doesnt seem like he needed the money. Seems like he was doing well with his Youtube channel and everything else he was doing. Dont know how many subscribers he had but he had to be making money. Confusing to me why people wanna push the limits or test the laws. Tbh… i dont understand half of what goes on today. I was thinking what Gamecock Operator was… What the heck are these auto key cards:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::+1::+1::+1:
