Where’s the Ammo Plant Gonna Be Located?

Its done im watching it…

well i dont know if anyone mentioned it, but the moderators here we all had a tour of the ammo plant a little while ago, and man, that place is awesome. they’re already cranking out 9mm and have big plans to start cranking out other calibers soon. be on the look out, its awesome. I dont think its any top secret knowledge now to say where it is physically located either, as PSA is hiring for it, It’s in West Columbia, SC, Near the Airport. It is a huge facility, and really has a ton of potential that PSA is going to use to the MAX. I loved the tour, and was amazed at all the stuff they’re doing there.

Well I certainly intend to keep them busy for as long as possible.

i think you’re in good company there… as i know i plan to do the same if im permitted to do so. :slight_smile:

Update from Jamin:

There are machines rolling in every few weeks. If you wait about 6 weeks you should be able to see 55gr loaded rounds rolling off of the line and 77gr OTM rounds rolling off of the line in around 8 weeks (times subject to change based on equipment delays). In June we will have 125gr OTM and 220gr OTM 300BO being made. The primer plant is also beginning construction and the longer you wait the further along that will be. I think you will be intrigued by all of it. Also, for those stating there is some sort of learning curve, this isn’t being done by us. It is being contracted by a major industrial group that sets up ammo factories. They set up several military factories in Europe and many of the factories in recent decades in the US. Each member of management was brought in from outside with decades of experience running large ammo factories and the employees are trained at other facilities, certified and then come back to us to begin employment. We have spent over $100,000,000 on this project so far.

The ammo plant is big enough they are also moving some shipping and production from their main warehouse. PSA is literally taking over the world.

Hell yea, want to buy some 556 off ya’ll. Little better perspective on why some projects have been delayed so much. Hell of an investment. :+1:

Im ok with that lol

And yet people still whine about the mp5, shipping, the krink, the (insert here).

Kudos to the company for investing so heavily in this kind of infrastructure here at home! Hopefully they can get as much of the supply chain from here as well so that tariffs and embargos won’t heavily disrupt the already regularly stressed ammo supply.

I can’t wait until all the building is complete and common ammo of all kinds is rolling out of these plants!

Psa doing a krink?

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

There an inside joke to this or is the joke on me :joy:

Its one of the many flavors of “Soonᵀᴹ” that abound at present. Some individuals have taken the unfortunate reality of current development delays a bit more personally than others.

Short version, yes, a krink is one of the myriad irons in the collective PSA fire

In another area of the forum, there’s a user who asks about the Krink almost daily. It’s become a meme. And that’s on top of people from other areas of the net just simply complaining about the Krink not being out yet. Krink krink krink. So when you replied inquiring about the Krink in response to GGs post, I took it that you were asking as a joke :joy:
It was the perfect punchline

:joy: honeslty i had no idea, thats great. Laughed out loud for a min man

Does anyone know if they plan on selling primers for those of us who reload?

Iirc, yes. But it will be some time before the primer plant is finished and they have their own demand to fill first.
