S&W Bodyguard .380.
Truly the worst trigger I have ever experienced in any weapon. Unreasonably heavy and unpredictable pull. It also had some feeding issues and was generally unpleasant to fire.
We bought it thinking it’d be a good pocket/purse gun for my mother. We hated it, she hated it, ended up unloading it quickly for a loss. Only gun I’ve ever sold outright.
Not even a close call for me. North American Arms Guardian 32. It’s a 1-4-1-1. Every time, 1 in the chamber, 4 in the mag that work, 1 FTF, finished by a stovepipe. Rifling so useless that from day one, I got keyholes at 5y, with about a one foot spread. Slide bite most of the time and once it even pulled up my index finger’s fingernail by somehow getting my finger stuck in between the trigger and the trigger guard. All combined with a grip about 1.5 fingers tall, brutally snappy recoil, and a 12# trigger. But holy crap is it small and concealable. I’ll never sell it because I don’t want to curse anyone else, and sometimes, it’s literally either that or nothing. Not sure it’s better than nothing…
The BG380 is my EDC. Also, everything you said is true. I’m a sucker for stupid guns. ![]()
HKVP70. Almost said the Ruger Security 9 4" I recently sold. The VP70’s trigger pull that Schwarzenegger can barely manage, and ergonomics so terribly bad it makes a HiPoint feel comfortable edged out the Ruger
Kahr P40.
When cold it was a 1/2 to almost full second from pulling the trigger to the firing pin moving. I have less hang time shooting black powder percussion cap guns.
Sold it fairly quickly.
My worst was a Tec-22. It jammed up every 4 or 5 rounds. It was still fun to shoot but cheap.
Cheap Guns, used by the Crinimal Elefent? Say it ain’t SO!
(but a heckuva lot more of them used by non-Crinimals, like that little-old-lady down the street…)
I’d say High Standard Derringer in .22 Mag. They look cool but the ergos are terrible. Worst thing I’ve shot. I still own it and I don’t know why lol.
Even with both barrels ported that short 460gr on one pull with that short of a grip is gonna leave a mark. Last option?
Yes sir.
Smith & Wesson Sigma SW9GVE. Trigger reset that goes on for days. Godawful accuracy. It’s like Smith looked at the Glock 19 and said, “we can make it suck”.
Girsan MCP35. Gritty, heavy trigger. Magazine disconnect. Inconsistent accuracy. Shipped with a barrel that appeared to have been shot out by an entire graduating class of the Turkish Federal Police.
Shadow Systems CR920. Glock 26 in a Glock 43 form factor. I called it my “concealed carry wristbreaker”. Recoil spring literally fell out of the gun after 250 rounds.
WASR-10v2. The bolt carrier group looked like it had been shaped by a Harbor Freight angle grinder.
Zastava M70. Heavy as a boat anchor for the QE2, trigger slap that would paralyze your trigger finger, no more accurate than an AK of much cheaper manufacturing. Easily the worst rifle I’ve ever owned.
Damn. Well I hope you have some that you do like
@PFunk
Daisy Red Rider , although it did cost my brother a chunk of a front tooth at the hands of my sister.
@Rufus you get that sacrilege out of here! ![]()
Not the first time I’ve heard of accuracy issues with the MCP35. That’s one I thought about buying and I’m glad I passed on.
TAURUS G2C
Not only can you feel the cheap, you can see the cheap. Rear sight flew off around 100rds and she was sold that afternoon.
I dig their revolvers…but never again strikerfired.
p.s. my EDC is also BG380 and I love it…10lb hammer fired trigger pull? AMEN! I love having my testicles!
yeah, but… still kinda want one. ![]()
