Your best groups

Put down your humility, or pride, and show us your best groups documented on paper. Disclose rifle, range, load, cross wind, etc, and any other “compelling” information. We can then vote on our favorites.

Not my best, but the one I’m most proud of. Remington 700 BDL in .243, factory Hornady 100 gr InterLock BTSP American Whitetail, 100 yards, wind . . . I don’t know I remember it being pretty calm.

My first rifle, after about 10+ years or so left it in the closet for years because it became wildly inaccurate after being a tack driver for a number of years. An older family friend made some suggestions, and I ended up doing my first free float/pillar/bedding job about a year and a half ago. This was the result after doing that and mounting a cheap Vortex Crossfire II 4 - 12 x 44. I can be kinda sentimental.

PSA KS-47 with Wolf Steel Ammo, 50 yards with a Vortex red/green dot using just a front rest. My wife really likes shooting this thing.

This is from my PSA AR in 300 aac with a Sig Romeo @ 50 yards using Remington ‘bucket of bullets’ ammo resting on a front rest only.

1st 5 round group was high….adjustment made.
2nd & 3rd 5 round groups….aiming at the corners of the 1inch box @ 50 yards.
I had to zero this rifle at a short 50 yards. I bought a new house and the opossums, raccoons and armadillos are using my yard as a Super-Highway, from the woods to the neighborhood where they invade each night. The previous owner was oblivious and animals being what they are……become creatures of habitat. Nothing I tried worked to prevent their destruction of my yard….so extermination was required…( just those that were using my yard as their transit path).

Using a suppressor on a Ruger M77 22LR, kept it quiet and accurate. Neighbors never complained and there were so many critters, I lost count. It took about a year living with the 22 next to my bed and a motion alarm in the yard……but it was worth it. No more pests….no more holes, my yard is beautiful again.
