I have had the Hammerli for a while now and always enjoy taking it to the range to plink around. Its made in Germany probably where all the others are made like Sig, Walther and Firefly etc. Umarex factory. Hammerli is a Walther company not sure why the created it. Shoots really well and hardly any failures, it hated the sticky Aguila 22lr, I just stick to CCI target or vermin.
Think I got it for just under 300 dollars on sale at Basspro.
Its all metal construction, I suppose cast aluminum but it has a nice heft to it about 35oz unloaded I believe.
