Any Valkyrie owners out there? Maybe a few Valkyrie aficionados? I’m looking to build a long range .224 AR, and the internet says 24 barrel", 1:7 twist is the best. What do you all say is the best length and twist to get? Thanks in advance.
@GamecockOperator had a Valkyrie…but a word ti the wise. Unfortunately the caiber never picked up like it should have. It was based off the 6.8spc round which also is a fantastic round, but ammo is becoming hard to find.
I would go with a more popular round at this point

It’s been coming back in stock. It AND 6.5 Grendel were persona-non-grata at the bigbox-sportsman stores for nearly the entire Biden administration - but they’ve both reappeared on shelves in the past couple of months.
Whether or not it continues to make a comeback is anybody’s guess.
