Nice pistol! Would make a great short range deer hunting gun.

That’s a great build! I wouldn’t have expected to see a 6.8 pistol. That’s some serious power in tight! I don’t have the talent or dedication to do a build like that, but I did manage to install the caliber kit to make my dream 6.8 medium range blaster:

I don’t get to shoot it as much as I’d like, but (as you know) 6.8 was pricy before the rush.

Nice build!

How do you like those PSA magazines? The reason I’m asking is I built a .224 Valkyrie a few years back, but people were claiming that the only good 6.8 SPC/.224 Valkyrie mags were the Precision Reflex mags. They’re definitely nice mags, but are priced very high for AR mags. I didn’t even know PSA made mags for these calibers.

The 6.8 SPC seems like the AR15 caliber that is most effective at long distance shooting.

I locked mine up by putting 33 grains of Accurate 2200 with a 125 grain bullet.

But it was a mild over-pressure. Found a gun-smith-in-training yesterday at a local gun store who said they could dis-assemble it & remove the barrel for $60.

If you want to use AR15 high-capacity magazines, then 300 Ham’r is the best AR15 caliber for long distance.

6.8 SPC won’t fit in magazines like MWG90.

I bought a 6.8 SPC with a 24 inch bull barrel back in 2018/19 when Bear Creek was going crazy with low prices on 24 inch bull barrels.

Then tend to over-torque their flash hiders - but that isn’t a concern on an un-threaded barrel.
