.300 Blackout Suppressed Build Recommendations Please

Hello all, I’m wanting to get my first .300 blackout pistol and suppress it and I’d love your guys advice. This will be my first .300 blackout and first suppressor purchase. I’m including the link below on what I’m thinking about purchasing and would like to hear your thoughts. For the upper, if anyone currently has this with a suppressor please include photos with suppressor information! I am looking for an upper that will allow the suppressor to be slightly tucked or one that is completely flush with no barrel gap in between the hand guard and suppressor. I’d also like to hear what suppressor you guys would recommend. Also, is this lower a good option? Like I said, this will be my first and I am not set on anything yet so any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Lastly, if anyone has this Sabre suppressed I’d love to see how it turned out as this is also an option:

Other than the twist rate that last option has a lot of plus ups for the $.

Twist should be 1/7.

300blk SBRs are fun. I have 2. One an AR (second from right) and a Jakl.

good first can, you can get extra muzzle devices and run it on all your other AR’s (556/308)

Thank you for the information. Is there a reason you recommend the Resonator R2 over the Resonator K?

Thank you!

quieter (in theory), but either will work very well

ive been around a lot of silencers at the range and they are very hard to tell a difference between manf or even caliber

YHM is a great manufacturer. They definitely hit well above their price point. I get a lot of stares and envious grins when shooting my YHM T2 Turbo 5.56 can. I’m a big fan of their ratchet style locking mechanism as well - gives me the confidence that I’m not going to wind up unintentionally tossing it downrange by accident.

I currently run an Omega 300 on my .300 BO guns - a 10.5" pistol for home defense (i.e. my “wife’s gun” lol) and a 14.5" for hog hunting under 300 yards. Stupid quiet with AAC Sabre black tip 110 gr supersonic rounds and “holy crap that’s quiet!” with AAC Sabre black tip 220 gr subs.

I have a ForSystems Monarch 7.62. It’s a heavy use suppressor 3D printed from Inconel. This can will probably outlive you. Shooting 300blk subs is super quiet. No hearing protection needed. All the guys using it for work have nothing but praise for it.

For the tucked suppressor look I know the Griffin Armament rail can fit a suppressor up to 1.5" outter diameter. (It would work with the YHM Resonator can recommended above.) They offer it in lengths from 7.5" all the way to 15" long.

As far as the flush look I’m working on two builds right now. My 300blk build consists of a billet upper, Griffin Armament 9.5 barrel, and a Geissele MK8 9.3" rail. Despite the stated measurements the 9.5" barrel sits a bit past the 9.3" handguard. I used a LPM Eclipse 14.5 pin and weld brake to get out past the handguard. The muzzle device sits perfect for the flush look. (Note: The LPM Eclipse is a Plan B mounting device. You would have to install a Plan B hub such as the Rearden Atlas on what ever suppressor you decide to buy.) The RCB-6 break will also work in this application, same concept just a different look.

I didn’t intentionally plan this out. I already had everything but the muzzle device laying around. Instead of buying a new barrel I was able to use these extended muzzle devices to make it work.

I like the Strike Industries removable rail. I was able to tuck my suppressor in it easily.

Curious, did you ever get this built? How did it turn out? I was going to add that I have (left to right) a Rezy K, a T3, and a fullsize R2. Pic for size comparison. The K can (any K can) on a gas gun is gonna be a lot louder than a full length. I run it tucked on the pictured 300BLK for length, but I have to use earpro when I shoot. Full length is R2 on the same gun sounds like unhooking an air hose.

Also, just a $0.02, I went with a Midwest Industries rail. They have a whole line geared toward suppressors and I have used them on a number of builds.

I really love this style. Whats your set up for this 300. Blackout?

PSA 300AAC build kit, Aero Precision lower, Strike Industries rail and WMD NiB lower parts. The suppressor is GMT-300 and the optic is the EXPS3-0. It was a really fun build!

nice setup.. the strike industries rail looks good… i really like alot of the stuff they make.

Thank you!

Is this your build? Not to “steal your look”, but could you share your parts? New to gun building and ready to treat myself to the gun I’ve always wanted, and this is the best looking rifle I’ve seen.
