3rd party buffers will not void a warranty. Most 300blks use an h2 or h3. Do you have a way to weigh the one that came with yours? It should also be marked?
It is ‘t marked but it has rhe grey cap which indicates it is the h1 I guess. I will leave everything as is and try to get used to the snappy recoil.
Here is my darlin:
Vortex 1-4 v-brite retical lpvo
Sightmark mini green laser activation swutch velcrowed to vertical fore grip
Strong enough flashlight to light up my house, past the front street and to the back of my deep back lot.
Texas Silencer Company Hunter 308 suppressor.
Ejecting at 3 o-clock and leaving bolt licked back on last round.
Exclusively using 110 v-max factory ammo but have some 125 OT ammo in a reserve. I generated bullistic charts out to 300 yds for the 110 v-max bc of .290 vel 2325 and the 125 OT bc .330 2000 fps both a 6000 ft humidity at 20% temp 50 F. They are laminated back to back and supported with the Vortex 1400 range finder if there is time to use it. The variances are simalar for a sound torso shot. I hunt with my Ruger Gunsite Scout 308 with the Sig BDX combo 4.5-14x44 scope and 1400 range finder combo. My distance max is 350 yards for solid kill shots on anything with four legs in Colorado.

Yes, I instinct shot left handed but I am also deadly right handed considering all the right handed rifles I was forced to learn. I am an accomplished instinct/point shooter with pistols and revolvers. However, now 72, earth quakes start up if I don’t draw and shoot instinctively or come up instinctively with handgun drawn and at ready. This is how I expect to engage danger.
Try some subs in it and see just how quiet 300blk is…
thanks for your service and welcome to the fourms! We’re glad you’re here.
swapping a buffer does not void any warranty. so you’re good there.
Guitarguy is right.. shoot that 300 subsonic with a can and you’ll be amazed.
I will try some 190 grn subs soon.
