Has anyone tried putting a 300BLK upper on a KS47 lower? Ive got 2 KS47 and was considering a 300 BLK upper.
I read that a “standard” AR-47 upper would not index quite right for mag or bolt or something, so I assume same issue for 300.
but why? I don’t get it. If you run a suppressor you can load x39’s to sub-sonic or even buy sub-sonic x39 loads.
Maybe just for the sake of doing it. To see if it can be done. Maybe the ghost of John Moses Browning visited him in a dream.

I agree it’s very cart-before-horse, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done.
The more significant challenge to address is going to be finding a way to feed it 300blk from ak mags. Although now that I think about it, the ak101/102 mags should probably work just fine since they are designed to work with 5.56. Now i want to try a ks-102 with short 5.56 barrel because lols
LOL! Yep. As good a reason as any! I just like the x39 better, but that’s just me. I’m like that.
Oh, I feel you 100% there. I understand the design intent on 300, but x39 has been around forever and I love me some time tested tech. That said, if it ever gets cheap, I’ll probably find an excuse to have both. For science, or something.
Just so I could shoot a 200 grain bullet. Plus all my 762 is steel cased and I could reload brass 300. And I was just curious if anyone had done it. Itd be cool to have a multi chambered setup. But I already have more guns than I can carry . Good news. I got my tax stamps Friday after 267 days E form. Glad I bought 2 the first time.
