Just heard from Jamin. 300blk is next (i do NOT have a date) and will be followed by the 7.62x39 AK-L.
Did he mention anything about the carbine version?
Not at this time. I imagine trying to get as many pistols as possible out the door to fight a brace ban. Each one out the door is a +1 for āin common useā.
And here I am enjoying ājust (finally) getting out of debt by refinancingā.
AAC will hopefully match the releases with ammo availabilityā¦
At least I donāt have to buy all new mags. Because I have a metric frog ton of of them. Until the x39 version dropsā¦
Any idea what the barrel length will be for the 300? The 5.56 is 10.5". Hoping it will be shorterā¦
It was always stated from the beginning of being 8.5"
man, i cannot wait on that one to be released!
Personally I just really want the 9mm one to come out.
Ya Iād love to know twist rate and barrel length on the 300blk
i would imagine 300blk and 9mm variants are in highest demand, already having an akv available to fill that gap⦠give 300blk a suitable home!
Do we see the 9mm JACKL or PS-5 first?
the 9mm Jackl i bet will be first⦠just my gut telling me that.
Unlikely it will be shorter than 10.5. If only because of manufacturing concerns, same upper receiver length, same handguard length. The 5.56 is 10.5, so Iād expect the 300 BLK to be the same, or close to it.
Last i heard was 8.5".
All mentions of the 300blk say 8.5"
Buying the 300blk as soon as it is released, pumped!
Now that Winchester is releasing 150gr Powerpoint in 300blk, that upper is definitely on the menu. 30cal soft points should be pretty effective at close range.
iād love to pick up a 300blk jakl when theyre released, but i think waiting to see all the offerings may be best for me, cause i may want one tiger striped or some other option that PSA may come up with.
Testing has been ongoing. Video on their IG.

So, all those who are waiting on the upper in whatever caliber understand that they will be required to drop an additional $99.99 for a screw-in adapter, a polymer rail adapter, a polyurethane buffer ring (additional rings may be purchased in 3 packs for $9.99), and a screw, right? A threaded metal disc with a hole in it, a rubber baby buggy bumper, a plastic stock adaptor, and a screwā¦for a 100 bucks. Oh, wait I just reread the listing⦠they throw in some blue Loctite.
On the bright side, they entire machined metal bolt carrier assembly for the JAKL will only cost $100 more than the adaptor kit, so awesome huh.
