I looked into components for reloading, cases are not generally available, bullets have only one choice at the moment.
None of the components are cheap either. You’d be at the same price as tela, if not more by the time you are done. Not including the effort. Not sure about y’all, but that’s a lot of work for me, and the amount I would need to crank is absurd for just a lad, and a press.
Should I procure another AK, it will probably be in 5.56 NATO for ammo availability. Unfortunately that cartridge really needs a longer barrel to be more effective.
I hope if they do make some, it’s a reasonable price. It’d be so easy to just gauge everyone on 5.45 since there’s so little available, but if they keep it low that would be very kind of them to do. Make it work and the PSA hate train might slow down more in AK circles.

It turns out that globalordnance is selling 5.45x39 under their name brass cased. A little pricey though and norma still cranking it out
