5.7 Rock holsters?

I carry my Rock in a Crossbreed supertuck that is for my 509. It fits very well.

Not sure where this goes. My Rock 5.7 with a OSS RAD22 Suppressor doesn’t recoil back far enough sometimes with SS197SR practice ammo. Tried one of my 22 cans (1" tube) from the 80’s and same issue. Is there a reduced recoil spring available? I’m pretty sure SS198LF wouldn’t have this problem.
Update: No problem with SS198 & 195.

I am looking at the Alien Force Rapid Duty Holster, they have a return policy, I want to see if one of the glock holsters will fit.

Good luck!

The Nerd IWB and OWB holsters work great with the Ameriglo 9X GL-808 sights
to absolute cowitness with the Holosun 507C ACSS Vulcan optic.

The 9X front sight is a bit tight in the holster, but easily fixed with a round file. You can also run the gun in and out of the holster repeatedly and the front sight is sharp enough to open the Kydex up a bit.

thanks, just bought one and am having a hard time finding a holster for one
does anyone have a idea for one without light/laser/ any add ons?

The Nerd Line of holsters have models for the Rock. They are for the Rock without any light/ laser.
I believe that the Rock will also fit any holster designed for the FN Five Seven since they are similar in dimensions and shape.

The Blackhawk Omnivore is an affodable option if you chose to run a flashlight. I have the Baldr Pro R which will fit into any holster designed for the Streamlight X300 Surefire. Except the Baldr is half the price of the Streamlight, with more lumens, and a green dot :sunglasses:

No offense, but no way would i use that holster since it doesnt cover the trigger. That is a negligent discharge in the leg waiting to happen.

He’s holding it up out of the holster from what I can tell. I’ve got that holster with the TLR1 setup and it covers the trigger.

I do not trust most holsers with big WML and this is why. PS this has happeded a number of times.

Fair, but my omnivore is currently on my SHTF gear and I have no kids, so not exactly a big risk for me. 100% not my EDC setup.

I just received 2 of Nred’s OWB paddle holsters yesterday. They fit both of my Rocks BEAUTIFULLY and secure the weapon well.

I have a NERD OWB for the belt that fits perfectly. I did find that the sweat guard was bit long for my comfort and trimmed it down about a half inch. I use the right side owb on left for cross draw in car and this works great.

Does anyone know if Nerd is going to offer a left hand version?
I emailed the question, but have not received a response back yet
Thanks

I’m still waiting on some left handed options, and some gun + light options, and basically any options aside from just nerd. I don’t care for the single clip IWB style, I’m too fat to do appendix carry.

Reached out to swap rig to see if they can accommodate threaded barrel rocks and fn five-sevens. They definitely seem like the best option for WML hybrid holsters. (and TBH, with as light as this gun is, why not run a WML?)

Confirmed they will, order is in. :smiling_imp:

Got my order, apparently they want me to sand down the adjustment knob on my TLR-1 to fit the holster…

  1. Absolutely ■■■■■■■ not.

  2. Why the hell would you not stick a popsicle stick in the kydex while forming to account for the knob that you KNOW is on the light that you say your holster is fully compatible with?

I’m going to reach out to them for other options, like you know, not having to modify my $150 dollar weaponlight to fit the $18 kydex shell they sent.

I’ve never even heard of a manufacturer suggesting this.
