Anyone happen to know if/when AAC will offer a brass-cased 7.62x39? Would love to have a middle option between Tula/Wolf and Norma.

Have not heard that they will. Their steel cased line should be pumping out ammo this summer, to include 7.62x39.

At first I thought they were going to make 6.5 Grendel brass cased too, but - alas - only steel case and that someday in the future, just like 7.62. On the positive side, AAC seems to have production QC down, so both 7.62x39 and 6.5 Grendel could be very consistent.
Anyone know if they’re planning to put out Hornady (or Norma) polymer tipped rounds? I’ve been looking for months and can’t find any anywhere.
Is this timeline still going to happen? X39 is becoming more and more difficult to find at an affordable price. Aac may be the savior

I havent got an update. X39 is still easily found under or around $8/box.

Yeah, Im also looking for an update on the AAC 762x39… the supply of Tula/Wolf/etc around here has dried up. I can find Norma brass, but it is usually 15$ a box.

They are not making it yet. Plenty of cheap ($8/box) available online.

that stinks… was hoping to have some soon… guess that is out of the equation. Wish they would send some of the Tula from the website to my local PSA store.
