Is it worth swapping out?
That depends on the user. I havent had any issues with standard springs.
@Rufus swears by them. I bought two off of his recommendations. One was going to go in my GF3 and the other in my MAK90. Since then I’ve picked up a AKP and AKV. So one might go in the AKP instead of the MAK90. I’ve just been swamped lately and haven’t done anything

I went ahead a bought it, I tinker with everything, I can’t leave vehicles or guns alone, whether it helps or not, in my head it will make it better…lol

I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised. Lube it well and it takes a little break in.
Notice a difference with the ALG recoil spring?
Have you also gotten the KNS adjustable piston to tune for your suppressor?
I installed an ALG recoil spring in my new AK-P and it made a very nice difference in reducing recoil and how far it tosses empty cases. Before the spring it tossed cases 18’-20’ and after the ALG install it now about 5’-6’ and still cycles everything I have ran through it. I also installed a recoil buffer, another low cost but effective upgrade.
