Here recently this has crept into the equation a couple times and it’s starting to bother me.
I only have maybe a thousand rounds through her.
The ALG recoil spring is a little lighter than factory iirc. You might want to try going back to the factory spring and see if that fixes the FTF.

If it’s a little lighter I’m thinking a tad more mass to the BCG may slow it down enough.

Maybe. That does add weight.
Put the original spring back in it work perfectly. You’re talking about adding mass to some thing and your lightning springs. Why Are you trying to fix something that didn’t need fixed? Have used the same damn spring on every rifle for a reason
