Crooked or not?
Well, we all know lots of AK’s have wonky sights…and for the most part if it is not WAY off, it’s OK!
If you’re curious or things don’t look right? Get your sand bags out, level the rifle and place your mag-levels on the rear of the receiver and sight block. If you don’t have some of these they are available in a set of 3 from Amazon etc. (that include a slim-tabbed magnetic off-set one for under scope leveling)- and are crucial for mounting optics, and are CHEAP. Even if the front SB is off some you should still have lots of adjustment with the drum- you are only using the “tip” of the post.
What really counts is the receiver/bore/rear SB, and if the front sight aint way out of the ball park- yer OK!
PSA does a really good job of getting things in the ball park, or even right on, much better than most!
If things are really, really off, contact your seller or see your local armorer.
Easy peasy!
