Front sight block question

I am having a LOT of trouble sighting in the AK-P I got recently. I have sighted in SKS rifles before and have the proper front sight adjustment tool, so I know the drill. There is something off but I cannot figure out what is going on. It’s like I have to adjust both windage and elevation just to get point of impact to move. It’s basically impossible to sight in.

Here are some pictures trying to show the front sight block. I am not very mechanically inclined, but is this canted a few degrees maybe? Could that be causing my issue, or is something else going on?

Its going to be hard for us to say for sure. If you want it to go back for repair contact CS and they will take care of you.

I looked at my AKp vs a regular ak front sight and the AKP sight is about 1/4 inch taller.

So, tried to sight in today, ended up with the front sight post all the way down and it wasn’t enough to zero at 25. Left/ right was good, no cant in the post just can’t get it to screw down. I had planned on keeping a low optic mount to co witness, but to zero the optic I had to bottom the dot so much that I had no sight picture of the target. Going to forgo the irons and use a scaler works or Unity riser.
