Recently shot my BM59 on the range. I used Winchester 308 150 grain steel case amo by TULAMMO. It is non corrosive and berdan primed. After a number of shots one bullet lodged in the barrel and the gun smoked but it fired the projectile. The steel casing aparently expanded in the barrel and got stuck. I had to pay someone to get it out. Is there a proper bullet to fire from it. It is recommended to fire 147 grain and brass. What do you think? Anyone else with the same experience?
That actually is common with steel. When shooting steel I always carry a barrel rod with me.
Thanks that’s good to know. I thought it would miss up the barrel.
