I’ve been wanting a new full size pistol for a little while now. At the Gathering, I fell in love with the Canik. Really wanted the new TTI Combat but, did not think I would find one in the new future. Was in PSA and ran across the Canik Mete SFx Pro (at a good price) and could not resist. Added a Trijicon RMRcc. Approximately 350 rounds through it so far and not a single issue! It is a dream to shoot! I don’t think it will be my last Canik. Will probably look for a compact version to replace my my EDC options (G19, G43, P320SC, M&P Shield 2.0). Not the sort of thing I would do to any EDCs but, I made a few cosmetic changes to semi-mimic the TTI version. See before and after pics.
How’d you paint the lettering?
I dabbed it in with a toothpick and wiped excess off with a little thinner.
