I got this slide in december 2022 and I’ve been loving it. However, when i was cleaning it recently, I noticed a crack at the front of the slide on the edge of the furthest window. Its a hairline crack that hasn’t spread since i first noticed it although i havent shot it since discovery. I’m not too concerned about it at the moment but seeing as this is my edc and only pistol I don’t want it failing. Has anyone else had this issue? I had concerns about the design being so thin in that area when i first got it but dismissed them till now. What would the warranty process be like with this? I dont want to ship it back then wait to get a new one because its my only pistol and i dont want to be out and about defenseless. Thanks.

It’s very difficult to say if that’s an actual crack in the steel slide or just superficial (in the cerakote). I suggest monitoring it. Continue shooting and enjoying. If it progresses, contact me and we’ll address it.

Alright, im pretty sure its the metal cos i can see it from the inside and in the window. Its difficult to get a good picture of it to show but i think i got some. The other side does have a mark in the cerakote but i can catch my nail on this one.
