In my last review, around 3650 rds, I had to send in my dagger to reman a broken firing pin. Customer service replaced my striker with their V2 Striker. My front sight was re torqued, my recoil spring was replaced with a different recoil spring, it wasn’t put on my repair sheet. My slide stop lever was replaced. I also noticed my rear sight was adjusted all the way to the left. Thank goodness I had just purchased my sight adjuster vice.
Since I’ve gotten back my Dagger, I’ve replaced the front and rear sights with the PSA Standard Sight Set: SKU 51655115293. I also replaced the trigger pin with a titanium version from Zev Technologies. No, the rest of the pins in their pin kit do not fit, they will fall right through. Don’t waste the $40.
I recently did a polish job on the gun to reduce the trigger pull. I haven’t done an actual data driven test but field tests definitely feel smoother and easier.
I just recently hit the 4095 Rd mark two days ago. I noticed something peculiar when I was inspecting my gun the following day. My slide is cracked where the rear sights are. It got me curious. Has this happened to anyone else here? I’ll be sending it in for another reman. Looks like I’m getting a new slide fellas.
I don’t think that’s where the crack started - just where it ended. Look at the silver line - the widest part is likely the part that opened up first. (IIRC that’s also the area of the slide that takes the brunt of force, holding the barrel locked during ignition of the cartridge)
Probably propagation from a stress riser on the inside of that lightening-hole.
I don’t know if it’s the only “stock” slide that’s cracked - someone else here posted pictures of one he had custom-milled himself that cracked.

Another reason I wish they would make RMR cut, iron sight forward of optic models, without the lightening holes. At least I have the SW2 one so they aren’t giant.
Just picked up my new slide. The slide was replaced and was available for pick up since early last week. I stripped the slide before I sent it in. They sent me a new slide with all the guts included and gave me blacked out factory sights instead of the gray ones. I’m super happy about this.
