I may or may not have done it in a limited manner with a Dagger. Granted the guy at the range in the Greenville store lubed it and racked the slide I bought a bunch when I showed up with the slide and 2 boxes of AAC 124 and told him I intended to shoot all of them. 0 failures and it may or may not be the one I really like the best.
This is the same swell neck rivet clown.
EDIT: wait, itās the same idiot that originally made the rivet video? The one thatās caused so many redditors to cry and whine? Oh christ almighty, this guy is nothing but a biased tool with a vendetta and his head couldnāt be further up his chili ring. PRIME example of a useless YouTube āknow it all.ā
See, I know a little about guns. I have a passable amount of knowledge compared to your average citizen, but Iām no expert, not even close. I know I donāt have the expertise to be sharing videos to the world, the difference between someone like me and this clown is that he thinks heās an expert, thinks his takes are worthwhile and deserve to be shared, and doesnāt realize he has no idea what heās talking about.
When will Fuddery go out of style?
When I posted this I did it because I thought the guy was an idiot, for a host of reasons. In turn the rest of you posted stuff I never would have learned otherwise!
I wonder if heās gotten any āfeedbackā? ![]()

like what have you learned? im curious cause he is an idiot, and a slew of other words, but i digressā¦
I like the Craftsman analogy @Yota-walker
About PSA and how firearms are made. I probably knew more about firearms than the average guy because I grew up around them and my historical interest but you guys take it to a place Iāve never been. Iāll still have lots of questions. Like, did anyone go on his page and get him to explain himself?
He doesnāt allow comments on his yt channel iirc.
That explains a lot.
The Legend of the Mall Ninja lives on.
i didnt go on his page, because i didnt feel like arguing with him, because there is no way iād be able to change his beliefs, it would just have stressed me out reallyā¦
My Virginia LGS that Iāve used for several years, told me yesterday that my micro is āa piece of $h!tā. I was trying out holsters and starting the process for 2 suppressors while there. Needless to say, Iām searching for a new āgo toā, and didnāt proceed with the suppressors
People are stupid with their mouths sometimes .
what gets me, is that there are so many of these fudds out there that really bash PSA for no reason at all. i mean like this guy here he said hes had an upper or a rifle that the barrel nut backed out on him until the barrel came out⦠which is physically impossible, cause even if the nut was loose, it cant back out without the gas tube being removed from in between the teeth of the barrel nut that is screwed on tightly. and god knows if you have ever tried to loosen a PSA barrel nut you know they are never loose, it takes the hammer of thor to loosen and remove a psa installed barrel nut. lol.
on another aspect of this, many times psa gets a bad rap from home builders who slap together an upper with their barrel, dont do it right, sell the gun at a show or person to person or gunbroker or armslist or whatever and then that guy has issues thinking its PSAās fault when in actuality its the guy he got it from who built itās fault⦠but yet when he sends it in for warranty, PSA fixes it⦠even if the upper receiver wasnt theirs⦠ive heard lots of storys where they fix things like this when its not even their doing, or all of their parts, etcā¦etcā¦
smh⦠i shouldnt let this stuff bother me so much⦠im just a fan, and a customer⦠its not like i work there or own stock in them, which iād love to⦠you hear that @Josiah_PSA LOL.
no wonder i have high bloodpressure.
Never had any problems with PSA products (or delivery for that matter). Own multiple firearms purchased directly from PSA and of varying types. Ammo, parts, what have you as well.
The only issue Iāve had is PSA doesnāt get my name right in email when I email them but thats peanuts considering the absolute gargantuan amount of stuff they have to do across all departments. lol!
Theres always people with sticks up their ā ā ā and just want to be negative and make exaggerated proclamations with no basis in reality I find. Even in Computer stuff/cyber(which is my background).
Ending - In my experience(s) PSA makes great stuff at great prices and Iām thankful for that.
Wish I could state things as nicely as you just did. In the end the only experience that matters is your own - and like you, mine with this company are uniformly positive.
I think what really grinds my gears are the guys LOOKING for things to nitpick. You could do that with literally any product of any type from any company. Itās not a fair or reasonable way to approach a review or experience.
i think you nailed it right thereā¦
I hope you told them why they lost several hundred in sales!
The one sales guy thatās always been cool with me realized how p!$$ed I was getting. He was the one I was starting the suppressor process with, while all the other staff started jumping in on the āp.o.s.ā Yammering. I finally raised my hands up in a ādouble you tee effā motion and asked them all sternly āSo when is this nuclear level explosion that Iāve been promised from all the psa haters?! Cuz Iām tired of burning through thousands of rounds between all my PSAāsā¦ā¦and nothing yet GD it!!ā
It got awkward to say the least.
Then I just looked at the one decent guy, said āthank you ā and walked out. They knewā¦ā¦ā¦
I can relate.
