Current Events 2023 Edition

How could this go wrong? Not even a chance or a smidgen of corruption. Amazingly everyone will vote Democrat.

I smell a :rat:. My BS meter is going off.

419-0 Come on.

We are being set up for something.

Their story is ready and a fall guy will be nicely compensated to take one for the team. That’s my conspiracy :joy:

Sounds like a good plan to Americans on board with going to war with China

No link, all I can do is take you to disclose . Tv

The answer is our Government has spent the last half decade trying to get a single guy named trump and ignoring the real threats.

Just something to think about.

Need the Boogeyman for sure…

This is exactly why it’s a bad idea to utilize any sort of surveillance system that stores data on the cloud. The police can and will make requests to perform wide, sweeping searches of all of the surveillance cameras on your site, and every other site that’s nearby. In today’s surveillance society, and in the era of the massive centralized power, the destruction of individual freedoms and the right to privacy, a permissive judge will give them whatever they ask for without hesitation.

Of course the police will request all video (including the video for both exterior and interior cameras) and the judge will approve it, meaning that they obtain access to video inside of your home that isn’t even related to their investigation. How could access to this type of video ever be abused? The judge is obviously convinced that the police requesting the video are doing so to fight crime, and that’s more important than your privacy in your home.

The obvious solution is to NEVER use any form of video surveillance system that allows a remote third party to archive your surveillance video. These companies will have no interest in protecting your right to privacy. They will gladly release anything and everything to law enforcement, as all they care about is protecting themselves from further actions by the police and courts. The company that’s archiving the video will happily roll over on you.

This is why it’s foolhardy to allow any remote/off-site data recording service to possess your data. Your data stops being your data when you allow someone else to possess it. You want to possess and control your own data. That means that you want the video recording system to be on your site, so that you control the data, so that they have to ask you to produce it, and so that you can arrange a retention and/or deletion schedule for the video that suits your needs. After all, you paid to build the system for your benefit and nobody else’s.

The first domino.

Banks that went heavy into crypto are going to be in trouble…

I’m all for honoring the rights of the Rooftop Koreans to protect their property – and to similarly honor everyone else’s rights to protect their property as well. Who needs to grant more power to the government when we have a population of armed citizens?

Here’s possibly your second
