I understand it completely. In 100 years you won’t be able to buy a gun in Amerika. All of the existing registered guns will have been confiscated and the only guns that will exist will be 100 year old AR pattern rifles that don’t have serial numbers because they were made at home as ghost guns.

I do. I also think she makes the most sense as well. We don’t lose a strong Governor or whatever with her as the choice.
I would go for Tim over Nikki. I dont think she has the toughness to be CiC.
I think she’d be fine in that regard as well. She had good people around her as Governor and I have no doubt she’d do the same as CiC.

Synopsis:
IPD got called to a man’s house becuase he was having what was vaguely described as “a mental health crisis.” He withdrew into his home and the police lost sight of him. Because he “moved rapidly in their direction,” they tased him, handcuffed him in the prone position, and caused him to suffer a cardio-respiratory arrest. When the ambulance arrived he was already dead.
IPD assures us that the officers “did nothing wrong” but the Grand Jury indicted them for manslaughter because their actions were ruled a homicide by the coroner.
It’s troubling that they understood that this guy had mental health issues and called an ambulance for him, but ended up killing him before the ambulance got there. Doesn’t everyone already know that you can’t restrain someone in the prone position?
My armchair quarterback opinion is that a little de-escalation goes a long way.
