Hey yall, been a minute. Took my 3rd compact out yesterday. I’ve had this one roughly 1-1/2 years, but barely shot 50 rounds at the time I got it, then other guns plus life took over. Knew I still needed to vet this one, so took the time yesterday. I remembered having an odd time with it when I first got it, but ran 150 rounds through it yesterday and even at 7 yards I barely hit a 8” target…….but not just a consistent off pattern. Erratic all over the place. Before panicking thinking it was somehow me, I grabbed 2 other daggers, a g19, and a p80 with a dagger slide assembly. Steadily chewed up bullseye when taking my time with focus drills, and within 2-4 inches CofM, if rapid draw with all the rest. Even taking my time, this one concerning dagger won’t even hit the paper and I see the dirt impacts off to the sides…….yes left or right or just anywhere random. Soooooo, just order a replacement barrel or contact CS? This is NOT a psa hate rant………given the amount of psa tools we have between our home crew, that get reliable steady usage.
I’d call CS and see what they say.
Agree. Whats the crown of the barrel look like?
A coworker had a problem like that, his front sight was coming loose and the bolt was pushing on the barrel. May not be your issue, were you able to swap barrels with the other Glock compatibles?
I would contact CS.
PSA had a bad batch of barrels when the Dagger first came out.
Pictures would definitely help.
@britx303
Loose sights has been mentioned already.
Shake the thing up and down and sideways with and without a magazine inserted. If it sounds like you are playing maracas in a salsa band you have too much tolerance or something out of spec. If you have multiple examples they all should feel the same. Too loose is a “defective parts or workmanship”.
I agree with previous posters. Contact customer service. I’m sure they will have no problem sending you a replacement barrel.
Swap a known good barrel into the suspect dagger and the suspect barrel into the known good Dagger. Shoot both, and you will know which one is the problem.
Woooo, been very busy with work/racetrack/shooting other guns………..forgot about this issue. Ill give CS a shout ![]()
