Hello all, is the Dagger Compact in the RMR footprint compatible with the Holosun 407k? I thought I read they were but the screw holes on the slide and optic aren’t lining up. Thanks for any info.
I believe that the 407C is the RMR version, while the 407K is a Holosun footprint.

That’s what it sounds like. The Dagger Micro slide that became available recently has the Holosun Shield cut and can be purchased with a 407K. If you have a Dagger Compact slide with an RMR cut it would appear you need the 407C. I imagine there is an adapter for the 407K that could be purchased at an additional cost.
I have the rock, if the slide cut is the same all you need is the plate that came with the gun. Unless the dagger didn’t come with any. I bought the 507c and it monts just fine wirh adapter. Ive only test fit it for now have to trim screws and need some tools and lock tite forst
The Rock and Dagger have different optic mounting footprints/systems.

I recently purchased the Dagger Micro with the Holosun 407K. As I patiently wait for the Micro frame to be released, I purchased the Dagger SW4 RMR slide thinking that my Holosun 407K could be interchangeable but it can not. Any input on the best mounting plate for the Dagger RMR that is compatible with the Holosun 407K?
Dagger Compact - 407C or 507C
Dagger Micro Compact - 407K or 507K

I just bought the micro dagger and a 407c gr x2 and it doesn’t fit. Can i mount with existing plate or need an adapter? I don’t want to buy another optic if I don’t have to.

The best thing to do is actually buy the correct optic. There is a pinned thread with optics that fit.

You kinda defeat the purpose of having a slim-line firearm with a wide base optic.
Id like to put a 507k on a micro dagger. Im hearing that there are issues with the screws being too long if mounting the optic without a plate. Is this a real problem with the hardware that comes with the holosun?
My micro came with screws from PSA for mounting. One is shorter and instructions were included.
Did you purchase the dagger without an optic?
Yes. And even if you purchase the micro with the optic the optic doesnt come installed.
