Hi everybody, I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue. I just put together a PSA Dagger compact and noticed the bottom of the trigger guard is kind of pitching the top of my third finger which is the first one holding the grip. I am wondering if it is just me. Any input will be appreciated, I was thinking of using a dremel and sand down along both sides. I noticed both sides are very sharp, thoughts? Thanks.

Sounds like a little case of Glock Knuckle. It’s pretty common.
You can smooth out the guard a little, but I would try a light file or some sandpaper rather than the dremel, one slip with that could mess up your frame.

A Glock is actually worse. IMHO
Thank you everyone, should I keep shooting to ger acquainted first? I really do not want to mess with it unless I have to.
I would always advise you try to get used to it or change your grip a bit before making any permanent modifications.
Moved to the dagger section. No worries on where it was. Welcome to the forums.
My EDC is a 1911 and MP9, this grip is something else, I will adjust first. I want this one to be my new summer time EDC. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I did that very same thing to both my daggers.
I removed a bit of the bottom of the guard and it feels much better now.
I had a STR9 when I got the dagger and noticed that it felt uncomfortable as I switched between the 2 of them. well worth the effort.
I wouldn’t be afraid of modifying gun frames, at least polymer ones. Dagger frames are inexpensive anyway. Make the gun fit you better. I heavily modified an FNS9 frame before, stippled almost all my guns, undercut all my Glocks and Daggers.
Just measure twice, and cut twice. Meaning, you are better off taking less than you need, and needing to make another cut, rather than having to JB weld material back on.

Thanks for the input, what it bothers me is the edge along the guard, mine are very sharp.

I have the compact Dagger also. I did not like the finger groove, they never fit my hand right. The Dremel works well for grinding the frame to fit how you like it to. Just go slow and keep checking the fit.

yep, The mold seam at bottom of guard and edge had a rough feel so I sanded a good bit at area where my knuckle rubbed/hit the trigger guard. The difference is night and day in comfort when shooting. no more knuckle bite , at lest for me.

Sand paper wrapped around a sharpie or pencil will be easier and less mental stress than a dremel.

Y’know, I’ve done that for other things before, but never for the trigger guard for some reason. One guess what I’m about to do now.

Thanks everyone for your input. I went ahead and did the trick with the sharpie and sandpaper suggested by California_Refugee and oh my God, problem solve. I do not feel anything now, I barely took off material, It was that sharp edge along the trigger guard that was pinching my finger tremendously. I am so glad I signed up for this forum, I have been lurking for months and reading lots of posts.
