Let us know how well it works. Because the Rock is recoil operated and the comp reduces recoil there is a possibility it may reduce cycling reliability, especially since there have been a number of posts regarding failures to eject. This may be aggravated with a Red Dot mounted as the Rock seems very sensitive to additional weight attached to the slide.
A comp doesn’t necessarily reduce recoil. It reduces muzzle rise. Which should theoretical help the slide recoil more as it pushes down on the barrel helping to prevent limp wristing the shot. I doubt it would do much in reality for the rock, as it already has low muzzle rise.
It will be interesting to see what results he gets. I also wonder how effective it would be as it’s designed for 9mm rather than .22.
