I was invited to 3 shoots held today (The day after Christmas) But I’m already doing my own.
Is this a thing where you live? I think it has grown from so many getting a Firearms for Christmas Gifts and wanting to get out and shoot them. It is near tradition where I live. The only thing that breaks it is a good snow. . . then we all go rabbit hunting instead

Never been to “a shoot”. I’m a loner. Its either solo or the wife and kids go. Or just me and the oldest. Am I weird? Lol
Weird. Well you did live in that other state for a long time soooo. Now it’s just the wife and I, we are loners and don’t play well with others👿.
Well I forgot to get any video until the day was winding up. We had been doing drills for something like 4 hours and this old fat man was out of gas

The owners of range that I am a member of are taking the week off for time with family, and hopefully it will be a blessed time for them. 
Sadly, I don’t hear about such things around here, but maybe I need to get out more?

i’ve done a buncha friend shoots, and thyey are always a blast (pun intended). Not only were they fun, but they were also educational, and many times folks who had different firearms than i did who came to the shoot would want to shoot the guns i have, and vice versa so we get to get profi8cient with other firearms that you may or may not have ever seen before. That makes it a lot of fun always.
unfortunately the day after christmas shoot i’ve never experienced, as no one has ever called me to go and ive never thought much about getting a group together. I do think its a great idea and sounds like so much fun.
perhaps im like many folks, i need to get out more lol ’
Would loved to have gone to the range but it has 3 feet of snow on it right now, we’re having a tough winter that started early up by the 49th. Last was a night shoot mid November, having withdrawals and a bit envious of southerners about now.

@Simple_Man and i went shooting today. Lots of mags through both our AK-Vs, bump fired for full effect. Had a couple pistols and rifles also. Any day shooting is a good day.
The AK-V is so much fun on the range, but sadly it bump fires so easily that I have to very cautious because of the number of LEO/Fed/ATF personnel that frequent the range. Just trying to avoid any unwarranted “Imperial entanglements” due to a mistaken use of inadvertently rapid firing.
Not the day after Christmas, but didn’t want to start yet another thread - quit counting Dagger threads of one sort or another at 359.
Anyway, wife’s brother just got a new toy S&W FPC 9. He also had another AR that he had not hot a chance to fire yet. Few pistols and a 12ga. just for fun. The gun shop threw in a toy scope with the FPC. Horrible. The Radical Arms AR came with an 'Amazon special’CVLife red green illuminated reticle. Not bad for short range. Didn’t have illumination turned on and I hit bullseye at 66 yds anyway with a lot of sun glare, could barely make out horizontal cross hair. We also fired from 75 yards, but we were shooting at target with no back stop . At 66 we have downward trajectory, much safer. All was just for fun.
looks like a good time was had. i think i need to shoot more … i really do.
I don’t have any friends around here. When I go to the range, it’s with my wife, my brother, or both. We’ve tried to get another brother (I have 5) to go, but he hasn’t taken the offers yet.
