This is a really great guide that has some good tips and tricks in it to properly restore a military gun stock. You can use these instructions tricks and tips for any wood gun stock. These instructions just have some specific instructions that really do apply to military stock.
I have some more tips, tricks and supplies and specific products designed for military stocks. If anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to ask. I may be able to answer it off of the top of my head and if not I have plenty of reference books and specific websites that I can most likely find an answer to your question.

@GuitarGuy I think we need a whole new Category “Tutorials” and the appropriate sub-structure to make all of the great info @1911 has posted today accessed easily and readily. Thoughts? Maybe re-align @GamecockOperator 's post on the definitive guide to PSA Lowers could go there too. Just a thought.
