The Sam’s down at the coast (Myrtle) has pretty much the same thing for $6.22.
going to start checking out what the local farms are charging but havent seen many signs out on the roads lately here in the poconos
About $5 a dozen around here ![]()
The exact minute that I heard on the radio that Waffle house was charging an extra 50¢ surcharge for any egg items - I knew something was up. I told her to pickup eggs at Walmart. 60 eggs for $20. Now they are crazy prices again. I guess bird flu is rampant again.
It’s the Covid TP scenario all over again.
Bought 18 at Publix this week for $5.xx.
That’s a good price.
$5.97 for a dozen here.
I shoot eggs for fun ![]()
Damn bird flu
Ridiculous. Utter Bullshartz.
As a former-insider at a primary-breeder/Avian-genetics company that nearly was ruined in the early ‘90s by an A.I. break, spread by a truckdriver - EVERYONE practices Isolation Policies.
The only way for A.I. (or any of the other, myriad Avian diseases) to get IN to a modern chicken house, is for someone to CARRY it in.
It’s bloody Unheard of for houses on the same FARM to break with a disease concurrently; let-alone multiple companies, on farms separated by hundreds of miles…
Utter Bullshartz.
Damn egg conspiracy I tell you!
@TheAirHawk
You should see the placards and gates on the commercial farms in NE GA around here. @TheAirHawk is right the security around some of them reminds you of a military base.
Y’all remember this from a couple of weeks ago?
They should have waited a little bit longer ![]()
