i dont trust any electric yard equpment. i had for a while tried black n decker and it was a failed experiment. now if i had to do it… i guess i’d have to go buy a new ICE motor version of whatever it is. I wont buy an electric yard machine ever again. Sorry if not a help.
I absolutely agree on that point they don’t seem to last. All my yard stuff is gas. I got lucky on my Milwaukee cordless combo kit. It was all shop tools. It was basically the same things that I had in my old Dewalt kit. Now all of it has been disposed. The Milwaukee kit that I got had: 1/2" drill, 1/4" impact driver, 1/2 impact drill, sander, cutter, 6 1/2" circular saw, angle grinder, sawzall, light, charger, two batteries and contractor bag.
yeah i had some before and all the electric yard kit stuff died too easy. so now well i dont do yard work at all, but i would only buy gas if i did still
Greg,
I’m still running my old school DeWalt. Some 15-20 years. Used a lot for pole barn and metal roof install. Vinyl siding and trim, lay offs or union labor strikes you got to have back up for income.
All of my 18V XR batteries have been exhausted, died, replaced again…died again. So l found this adapter 18 to 20V Li-on up to 60V max. Yes it added length some but the runtime is awesome. I almost discarded them before l found this adapter.
The only brushless tool l have is a recent purchase…20-60V max 16" chainsaw. My neighbor let me try it out and l was hooked! He has had it going on 5 yrs l think? Yes it turns slower than gas but somehow it cuts nearly as fast. So l have ordered 4 more batteries 2 8Ah, 2 12Ah.
Just my 2 cents and yes l agree Milwaukee is the schlitz!
Milwaukee
Milwaukee doesn’t lack for power - but they have THE ABSOLUTE WORST P.O.S. Keyless drill chucks on the planet.
