FedEx shipping concerns

So I ordered some ammo from PSA. I got shipping information and tracking really fast. So good deal PSA. Now FedEx… not so much. The package was scheduled to arrive Friday. It didn’t. It was in Charlotte NC. For reference I live in Upstate SC about 2H from Charlotte. So I figure Saturday or Monday no big deal. Sure enough FedEx updates the scheduled arrive to Saturday and the Package left Charlotte Friday night. Then nothing. Saturday came and went, no package no updates. Again no huge deal. But then today I check the tracking and Huh?!? My Package is somehow now in St Paul Minnesota? How does that happen. I suspect I am about to experience my first package theft in the FedEx system… Has this happened to anyone else?

Fed ex is right up there with USPS, when it comes to rerouting packages, especially the delivery drivers that own their truck way less QC

Your ammo was drop shipped. Thats the only way PSA uses Fedex.

This I know, it left Louisiana and got to Charlotte (near me) then went farther away than when it started which I am guessing means someone screwed up or worse.

FedEx just sucks.

This happens a lot with my incoming FFL packages. Usually the label has gotten smeared or damaged and the automated system keeps putting it on the wrong truck. You may want to start a trace on it so that a human will figure out what’s happening.

Smith and Wesson sending me a sight from NC and has been in SC now for a week. Might have moved over to MS over weekend. Fedex, probably cheapest shipping though.

FedEx more like FedUp. haha
I quit tracking packages when they are shipped through FedEx because it usually goes on a tour of the U.S.

USPS

Ordered a scope Feb 18th. It arrives in Chicago on Feb 21.

Sits in Chicago until March 7…a full 14 days.

Received scope today, March 10.

Just did exactly that. It’s still sitting in St Paul MN but funny the instant I put a ticket in on it now it has an estimated arrival date. I doubt that is anything real, as it hasn’t moved like I said but too coincidental to ignore.

I do want to say I don’t think this is anything negative on PSA it’s FedEx that is screwing up here. PSA did everything right and I suspect if something goes wrong I expect they will take care of it. And yes I did pay for shipping protection. Shouldn’t have to but in this case I may be glad I did.

I decided to check on my recent order it’s been a week today .
As I see it was a hour away from me in SC this morning and this afternoon I’m thinking maybe it’ll be delivered today or tomorrow.
Nope now it’s New Jersey should’ve never looked.

That is just crazy. Like their computer got dropped on its head.

AI is not ready for Prime Time. We had it where I used to work and I was one of the very few that didn’t get coached for overriding it. Only took a couple times showing the Sup the logic fails and she gave up.

Fed ex absolutely sucks. I’ve had stuff sent all over the country. I’ve had drivers throw my package out the window, left under the eaves in pouring rain and give my wife crap when she confronted them in the driveway. I’ve had packaging just destroyed and parts missing. I always ask for UPS if available. Friendly drivers and even give my dog a treat.

Well I will give them this, the order did finally arrive today (was originally scheduled for the 7th) about an hour before UPS delivered my other PSA that I ordered on the 9th while this package was vacationing in St Paul… LOL All’s well that ends well I suppose but I kinda am thinking FedEx sucks at the moment…

Seems to be happening more often since 2020.

It’s not just FredEx…USPS to boot…a lot lately.
Usually from northern KY items ship south to Louisville Nashville Gallatin and then to my local.
Not this time…

Mid state of OH, then Nashville, Gallatin oh but wait…lets go N west to Clarksville!!!

They did the exact same thing to me with a package. My package toured the entire east coast before it finally arrived at my house. USPS had it for 13 days before it was delivered to me. The package only had to go from Florida to South Carolina. Why it toured NY and NJ I have no logical reason why. USPS really sucks now.

They just need a little more power for their new AI router! @1911 @19foxtrot
