Psa and leaving my items on my door step

My name is trey and i ordered a pro mag 14 round magazine from psa. I’m writing this to let everyone know and not to make the same mistake i did.
I ordered my magazine on like the 12th of this month, i called fedex and gave them my tracking number and they told me the shipper of my item will not allow my package to be held at a fedex location, that would be to difficult. I live In apartments and if something is left outside it will get stolen. I was told i have to get a hold of the shipper but shocker when you call the psa phone number they provide on their website, u get a message then get hung up on. I have emailed them and tried to text them also from their website shocker again i waited for 30 minutes and no one ever tried to talk to me. I have a full time job and wont be here then. THANKS PSA FOR TAKING MY MONEY!! And thank you for making it so difficult to try and reach somebody from your website, so i can address this problem.

Hi Trey and welcome to the forum. I wanted to let you know that when I recently ordered an AR pistol from PSA it was missing the 30 round magazine that was in the ad. I did contact PSA (I forget if it was by phone or email) and got an apologetic email within like 2 days and assurance that they were shipping the magazine. I got a second apologetic email the next day from someone completely different and assurance, again, that they would take care of it. In just a couple of days I received a box with not 1, but 3 - 30 round magazines and a hand written apology note inside. I understand your frustration but give them a chance or two to get it right. They certainly did for me. Good luck.

I’m confused as to why PSA (or the drop shipper of your mag) would allow it to be held? Wouldn’t that be a fedex decision? Furthermore, this is why I sometimes have stuff sent to my office. But look on the bright side, it was a Promag, so it probably wouldn’t have worked anyway.:wink::wink:

@Trey To the best of my knowledge, we do not have any such clause with FedEx about not being allowed to hold an item at a local Hub, unless it is a serialized firearm. UPS does this for our customers regularly if requested by the customer. Unfortunately, this sounds like a FedEx issue, but I will gladly have it looked into for you. If you could please PM me with your Order number, Email and Phone number. I will make sure it gets to the correct people to investigate.

If your item gets stolen, frustrating for sure, you simply file a claim with Fed Ex and get your money back…eventually

Way back when I lived in apartments, all packages went to the office where residents show ID and pick them up.

Your complex doesn’t do this?

I’ve tried a few, and the only ones I’ve had success with is their SKS mags. Not as aesthetically pleasing as the Tapcos, but they were/are available unlike Tapco and so far just as reliable.

Only serialized items from PSA cannot be held at local dropoffs because those require adult signature. Notmal packages can be held, unless your local hub has marked all packages from PSA as potentially hazardous. That is up to FedEx, not PSA.

I have the same issue with FedEx and UPS as an FFL. Packages that require a signature cannot be held at a local dropoff, but they can be held at the hub. For me the hub is at the airport, 20 minutes away, so keep that in mond.

Hey trey, first welcome to the forum. second did you ever contact josh here and get with him about your issue? Like the other guys have said, i believe that your problem here lies with fed-ex not psa, but that being said i know josh and PSA will do their best to make things right for you. best of luck, and please keep us updated.

THAT’S gonna leave a Mark…
