Pictures will follow if it doesn’t suck.
I daresay pics are in greater demand if it does
Let others learn from your mistakes, so they can go make different ones.
And good luck.
The wrap turned out ok, choosing an easier handle to wrap for a first try might have been smarter.
What I didn’t anticipate was the cord coming into contact with the barrel, so now this becomes a “durability” test.
I may try again with gutted paracord when this one burns off.
$3/45 minute experiment
Burn it just right and maybe it’ll fuse into a nice solid handle
Edit: might also catch fire, please record video and continue to fire while on fire.
I’ve seen worse meltdown videos. The only thing that would make it better is to stab something after it runs dry!
Nicely done though, What bayonet is that, and how much cord did you get on there? Looks like more than 1 layer.
it will “keal”
Love that show
I have made lanyards, etc in the past with leather. It’s been a long time, though. And I used to do leather crafts. I learned that you give them as gifts, because you could never sell them for the hours of labor you put in to them. I like the Paracord stuff you did. Leather is also cool for lanyards, wrapping hiking pole handles, etc.
The “expert” ties these key chains in 90 seconds.
I’m not even close, but getting faster.
I see more paracord projects in my future.
