My polytac extends about 1/4 inch beyond flash can. No shadow
I went with a Surefire Scout and Haley Strategic Thorntail mount. Really slick looking!
That’s the latest combination I was looking at! Any chance you can put a picture of how it looks mounted on your gun? I’d like to know where it mounts with that flash can on it . (Assuming you’re has a flash can )

On my AR-V there’s not a lot of real estate to add a flashlight and tape switch. I used a Monstrum 45 degree offset Picatinny rail mount, then a OLIGHT Odin 2000 lumen, which when paired with a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 is about perfect. An OLIGHT Odin Mini at 1200 lumens may be a slightly better choice for real estate, but my Odin light is very bright.

Dont cheap out on flashlights. You dont have to spend $2-300, but dont go with cheap chinese knockoffs either.

But yeah, dont cheap out. If you want cheap do a sure fire G2 or the equipment entry level Streamlight. Or buy used surefire/streamlight over a China light. I have TONS of cheap China lights, some are awesome. NONE are on any of my firearms.

@California_Refugee you were correct. I got then both. Next time hit the little flag icon and it will get to us admins quicker. I try to read every post and thread, but usually is just a quick glance that may not show on my radar.
