He had a few hangups today,it doesn’t like the Wilson combat mags he bought for it a few failure to feeds and a failure to eject over 25 ish rounds with one of the W.C mags requires the slide be manipulated backwards a hair to be able to work the slide release.His kimber mag had no issues. And he said he replaced the recoil spring and he put on some choice grips looked like mahogany with a brass horse insert on both sides. They looked nice but I prefer the g10 grips I have for the texture
on the grips. Definitely felt better recoil wise. Overall he’s still happy with it.
Any 1911 can be mag perculiar

hehe.. he hasnt had a tisas yet.. wonder what he’d say if he owned one of them too.
that is a Tisas! Goverment A-1 just packaged as an SDS .he just went hog wild and tossed on a bunch of Wilson combat stuff including barrel and tisas duty slide and that prancing pony hand grip. It was softer firing than mine and wayyyy more accurate.
He has that disposable no kids no g/f money…
mine would look a bit like that if I did too lol
