no it literally just drops in over the trigger, only certain ones work (like milspec) geisseleās and most aftermarkets wont work with it
there are many more available now, but this one is one of the cheapest, they also have a new mini version

FRT conspiracy! Ammo makers luring us in! Avoiding an frt for my ak otherwise Iāll need even more ammo. Although my 10-22 seems to be missing a piece or two. SMH
