That’s some beautiful Damascus.
That’s one of @PapaBearKnivesV2 works
I need to make more of those
When I was planning my ALL OUT Glock 49 build, I was gonna go KINDA the same route, but with blue pins & extended controls, as well as a teardrop mag catch, TTI +2 G19 mag extensions, a new(er) Swampfox Justice 2 with a blue Eleven 71 Design* titanium optic plate. The plate’s a whopping $120, but they’re a TN-based, 1 man, 1 machine shop, & titanium ain’t cheap. Their craftsmanship is 2nd to none, even better than Forward Control Design’s (& THAT’S SAYIN something). The plate just looks like another seamless part of the gun.
To finish, I was gonna add a Precision Overwatch TAC trigger & their Have Blue magwell (IN blue, of course), some Ameriglo optic compatible sights with a green tritium front & black rear, & finally a Griffin Armament threaded barrel with their Micro Circle Comp.
I woulda been able to save on shipping for the pin & control kit ($50), the teardrop mag catch ($35) & the TTI mag extensions by gettimg them from the GlockStore, which is about 15-20 mins from my house. But even THEN, throw in our “wonderful” 9.75% TN sales tax (the ONLY bad part of not having a state income tax) & the delivery for everything else & I woulda been looking at OVER $1500-$1600!!! I went with a Walther PDP Pro SD Compact & some trimmings instead. And even THAT was around $1200-$1300 (granted, I’d been saving for almost a year AND we recently sold our house).
My next purchase at the end of the summer will be either a Micro Dagger/Glock 48 MOS, a Glock 19/Compact Dagger OR a Canik TP9 Elite SC. Gonna top whichever I pick with 1 of those new(er) Swampfox Justice or Liberty 2s. And if I go the Dagger Compact route, I’m gonna add the Grit Grips GG aluminum magwell & use G17 mags.

I had a neighbor murdered recently and the homicide detective came in and talked to me about it and told me to buy a Glock. I ended up buying two a Glock 17 Gen 5 and a Glock 20 Gen 5. 1st post to forum.
Welcome to the PSA forums @SRV
welcome to the forums @SRV you cannot go wrong with glock as a first purchase… however i’d of steered y ou away from the full size glock 20 in 10mm… as the grip is HUGE… (ask me how i know? well i’ll tell you… the first handgun i ever bought was a glock 21 in 45acp… i love the caliber and wanted americas caliber in my glock. now what i should have done, is bought a 30s, its the mid size .45acp glock, that has been slimmed and narrowed in the grip to where it feels like butter and money and all good things in your hands. I still have my first gun, the 21, but i havent shot it in nearly 7 years cause i just love my 30s. I dont know if glock makes a 30s equivelent for the 10mm… but if they do, thats the way to go)
i digress.
I have really big hands so I had to add the large back strap onto my Glock 20 but I love it man. the \ 17 G5en 5 is nice to lighter obviously but man I’m just falling in love with these Glocks
I shot the 20 at The Gathering and loved it. And I generally despise Gaston’s plastic fantastic because of the crappy 2x4 ergonomics. But still, the 17 and 19 are the absolute center of the universe when it comes to handguns. Not that they’re the best, but every accessory in the world will be made for them first. Good choices for both!
glad to know you have huge hands… then yoiu’ll be great with that 20…
if you love glocks so much so far, you should check out PSAs Dagger Compact line, its the same size as the glock 19, 23, and 32. you may like it a lot… the dagger micro is a smaller offering in the size of the 48x iirc.
yeah they will have everthing made for them… me im not much a fan of the 10mm… as i love 45acp.
thats one reason i love our daggers soo much is cause they’re glocks, but better… they hve curves, they have comfort grips… they have style and pinazz that the glock doesnt
It slips in the back pocket of my jeans pretty good ![]()
I misplaced mine in the house yesterday.
Good thing it’s just me and the wife at home.
Must be getting old…or have too many of them ![]()
My only remaining Glock, but still my EDC. Haven’t found a softer shooting or more accurate .380 and very few guns conceal better than it. If you haven’t handled a 42, you might be pleasantly surprised how much more shootability it has over the 43.
Sweet looking Glock, I like the extended silver pieces.
Thanks. It’s the stainless Centennial Defense kit, but the mag release stuck out way too far and was uncomfortable with hard edges and hard metal stippling, so I took a file to it, ground it down smooth, and rounded the corners. Finished by polishing it all up to a shine.
this s perhaps my favorite glock. it is my Glock 30s in .45 acp. it is “just right” for me. fits perfectly , carries perfectly, its just the gun for me regarding glocks.
i’ve never had 26, but i had a 27, and wish i had it still along with the 26. hell at one p oint i almost had just about every “common” glock out there. its amazing how much folks will trade sometimes.

i see your point. i think you may be right there. . they are great subcompact pistols.
So both my wife (43x) and I (G48) have used Shield Steel mags (15rd) for the last two years, well over 2000 rounds through both collectively, including security TAC trainings annually. Have not had any issues with real bullets (lol). I have noticed that the Shield mags do not like dummy rounds. Or at least mine didn’t. But on 115gr and 124gr, never had an issue. You’ll need to replace the factory plastic mag release with a metal one.
