Howdy. I’m from Cocoa and I’m looking for some good quality training in the area. I know about the Titusville Police Hall of Fame and I’m a regular, but I’m curious about offerings other than theirs and the SIG Academy classes that might be in the area.
Hey Robert…I’m from Viera, an NRA instructor and CRSO…I RO and teach out at Titusville Rifle and Pistol Club in Mims. What kind of training are you looking for? I teach just about anything from basic pistol to self-defense shooting including a modified FBI course of fire. Usually teach after the club closes to the public and only myself and a few students are on the range.
Good to meet you.
Have you found the training you’re looking for??? What is the extent of your training now?? Rifle training, handgun training?? Very hard to find a place that allows “tactical” training without hiring an instructor. My plan is long term starting out with basic hand gun moving up to tactical training - drawing from holster, basic moving from steel target to steel target and my favorite is a revised FBI course of fire…all one-on-one on a closed range.
Hi, sorry I have been busy. I don’t have a lot of formal training on the handgun and I would love to do some training. I currently shoot the APHF range tacprac matches on Fridays, do a lot of dry fire and holster work on my own. I also would like to do some more formal training on the carbine/rifle. I’m familiar with TRPC.
Checked out your range’s website, seems like there is a lot of closed dates due to no RO. What are the qualifications to be an RO, I would be interested, I live about 20 minutes awat.
