Hello from the Keys

A little late on the daily sunrise pic.

Pool to ourselves except the dinosaur.

And to those from SC…found this:

No one wants to go to Orangeburg or Manning…

Not much good comes from Orangeburg. I make it there pretty regularly. Way better than Columbia for E85.

So are the Keys like Florida’s version of The Outer Banks?

Kind of

Hunters?

I went running in this heat this afternoon. Made it 3.4 miles and had to walk some. Total was 4.6 miles.

Don’t let us read about you in the Darwin Awards next

Nah. I hydrated when i got back. I just got to a point where i was tired and hot and i knew to stop for a min.

Dinner with a view

Going to be another great day of pool sitting.

Somewhere… someplace … on some mem’ry card I have a photo of me and my FZ-6, piled-up with camping gear and panniers, parked in front of that sign, circa March 2007.

I stayed in a hotel for only one time on that trip - later that night, in Jupiter FL - because I was just so dang exhausted. Also have pics of the FZ in the hotel room, because if I had left it outside I would have had to take the Bus home…

Nearly 4800 miles in those eleven days. Almost a thousand miles, just in that day. (Just South of Warner Robins to Key West, then Key West to Jupiter)

That Vacation would Kill me today.

Say hi for me to the folks in YeeHaw Junction on the way back to Caroline  Elevation 49’, Population 240.

How far is that from Holypaw (sp)?

I don’t know but it’s only a hop skip and a jump from Sopchoppy. If you get there quick you can attend the Worm Gruntin festival.

I’ll spel it correctly, Holopaw.

One last sunrise.

Boarding the plane. So long south Florida.

It indeed is a nice place to visit - but I wouldn’t want to live there.
