Well, he doesn’t seem to care for the Trigger, and the slide’s Stainless, and it’s about 300 Bucks…
(I kid! I like Hickok45!)
He seemed to really enjoy shooting it…other then the trigger(which does have alot of takeup)…but all n all it was a good review
Yep. It’s gong worthy. Many years from now there will be archeologists that would suggest a war was on his land from all the lead that was shot. ![]()
It’s going to be a Superfund Site, like all the Vast Zinc and Lead Mine-Tailing Fields scattered across Southwest Missouri, from the Mines near Joplin and Granby…
The Dagger is just a good, solid, no-frills pistol. Mine has been every bit as reliable as my Glock. The bells & whistles provided by other manufacturers aren’t there, but the price reflects it. And the one feature that is the most desired (reliability) has not been compromised.
Most of the time, people get exactly what they pay for. In the case of the Dagger, it’s true. It is a decent, moderately-equipped firearm based on the most reliable design in history for a fair price.
Got more (useful) features than a Glock at least. Better trigger in my two. Forward serrations standard which Glock just now caught on to. More options than Glock, steel sights, better texturing, thumb ramp/indexing spot for off hand thumb, the carry cuts to make it less blocky (never found holstering/concealing to be an issue, that’s what holster design is for).
Mine’s been just as accurate too. My only gripe is the mag release and the tension on it. Don’t think I’m ever buying an OEM Glock again.
I like my Gen 5 Glock 19 too much. I think it has the better trigger than the Dagger, out of the box. The stock Dagger trigger lands right in between a standard Glock and a S&W SD-series.
I admit, that if one does a Flitz polish job on it, the stock trigger improves, but not enough for me to keep it.
I think the best evidence of just how good the Dagger is if one were to look at all the different combinations that people have shown off here on these forums, the one thing that would stand out is that no matter what gets done to a Dagger, it is still going to fire when the trigger is pulled. It’s just that rock solid.
I’ve never had a Glock trigger that had as clean of a wall as the Dagger. That’s the issue with OEM Glock’s, their triggers are so inconsistent. I’ve gone from previous gens to a gen 5 Glock and it felt exactly the same as the earlier ones, despite all the differences inside.
I have felt some friend’s Glock’s that did feel pretty nice though, but I never managed to get the 1/100 with a good trigger in it.
