How about a few Enfields

I have used SARCO for some things for my Dads Mk 4. Not in a while though.

I kept a #4Mk2 when I escaped from purgatory (CT). It’s a easy rifle to handload for, and shoots pretty well.

Here is an entire Enfield MK III drill rifle with a full stock and handguards for $165. The bonus here is you have other parts that you could use if you had to. The frame has been demilled so it won’t fire but has a good number of usable parts.

Thanks! Went to the website, very reasonable prices and they have some of the wood and hardware. I also found a place to get a complete, non firing No.1 Mk III for $99. 00. Ishapore, but I don’t care. Complete stock and hardware. They drilled across the chamber and welded a pin across it and ruined the bolt face. The only part that sucks is that it still has to go through an FFL. These guys around here want $45…

Some shops are sketchy about txfrs to non-residents.

Thanks Greg. Saw about the same, at J&G . Gun broker says that there’s has a fully functional bolt and firing pin has been tested. I will ask both vendors if the can pick me the best one for a little extra $$.

That could be a good score just for the usable parts. :grinning:

Mine is an American Eddystone model 1917 which is basically an Enfield modified for our use here in the US. This Eddystone was made in 1917 used in WWI by our soldiers in .30-06 instead of the British .303 round. There were more Eddystones used by our GI in WWI than the US Military adopted Springfield .30-06. The Springfield Armory 1916 bayonet was used on the Eddystone, Springfield. 30-06, the M1Garand and our Military shotguns.
