Really depends on what you are hunting and who you like. I’m a CZ fan and have lots of them, I especially like the over/unders.
Squirrels - a 28/20 ga is plenty of gun (CZ 620/628)
Deer - 20/12 ga slug gun (Remington 870)
Turkey - 12 ga semi auto that can handle 3" shells (CZ 1012 is my favorite)
Upland birds - 20/12 semi auto, again I like the CZ 1012 for this or my favorite is the CZ Woodcock G2 (no longer produced)
