In store Pricing

I purchased alot from PSA online and a couple of small purchases in store… my question is…
Do you get the advertised online price in the store?
Reason i ask is a family member stated you cant go to the store and get the price quoted online. Im like that cant be true… is it?

If the EXACT SKU is in stock you can. It has to be exact though.

You must have to ask for that price match. They have the Federal 5.7 @ $49.99 in store. Do they match if you ask?

I noticed several months ago that the PSA website stopped showing availability of an item at its retail locations. I know the in stock status was not always accurate, but I have been curious why they stopped this feature ever since I noticed it. Like the original poster, I was wondering if the stores had different pricing.

That makes sense… thanks

I have always received the sale price on ammo, guns etc in the stores. Usually do not have to ask, cashier tells me.

The Greenville store hasn’t for me.

Usually they will price match if it is the exact sku, but you have to tell them. or at least that is my experience… from what i understand the stores run as independent entitys from the web so that is why they are different regarding things.

I find the in store pricing to be different than the online pricing.

Two examples:

  1. My KS47 in store was $999. At the time they had they gun listed online for $799. I asked about the online price being $200 less than they had it in store, and they said that they couldn’t match it in store, but I could buy it online and when the store got it in (even though they had it in store already) they’d call me and refund me the shipping cost, and PSA doesn’t charge a FFL fee if you buy from them, and use them as the FFL. So I said okay, I’ll do that, and went home. When looking online to buy the gun for $799 I found that if I bought the assembled lower and upper separately that I could have the exact gun, with all the same components for $499, so that’s what I did. I bought the assembled lower and upper separately. In this scenario it was cheaper to buy online. This was in 2018 in Cola-town BTW.

  2. In 2019 a base FN 509 was generally selling in the high-$500 range if I remember correctly. (Say $570’ish) I was in PSA and they had my FDE frame/black slide gun on sale for $410 or $420 because FN was discontinuing that color combo. They’re online price did not reflect this in store sale price. In this case it was cheaper to buy the gun in store. I saw this same kind of sale about a week later with a CZ P10F.
