Why I have the truckers atlas on the bottom shelf of the end table beside me.
If they had it in $100bill wrap
I mean…10 millimeter under 200, didn’t Chuke’s put rounds through one?
Its 10mm. Its made to be lost.
it was quite awesome.. but it is true.. the generations since the switch to pocket pc computing have changed how we learn what we need to learn and how we need to learn what we need to learn if that makes sense. im not saying its wrong, because they’re geared for future jobs and conditions that those of us who came before are not geared up for… just like they would be lost if you dropped them a say, a paper map and told them where they wre and sad find their way to x place.. and they’d not be able to do it.. its just a factor of the changing times… The only thing that makes it bad or worrisome, is if we loose complete power either due to a nuclear war, or a solar event that wipes out things via basically an emp like event. because now with civilization so based on electronics, itll kill civilization.. back then, it wouldnt have hardly been noticed..
I used to use them (well, STILL kinda do!) - but have [mostly] switched over to these double-ended, pointy things, with a really great bamboo stick:
There are several brands, these things work really well in corners and narrow slots, and don’t leave much “fuzz” behind. The tip is very compressed. Sticks don’t break easily.
Some things, them Chinese Guys are ahead of us in. Cotton Swabs appears to be one….
I have been using the pointy ones for a while but was paying like 7 bucks for 170 of them at Walmart. Their off brand stuff Equate or whatever they call it. They are great for cleaning for sure and are really tightly wrapped up.
Thanks for this. I just ordered a box. And, of course other stuff…
Wow it looks phenomenal
When you’re a Welder/Fabricator - there’s no such thing as “scrap” that’s bigger than your hand - there’s only materials you haven’t gotten around to making into something Useful yet…
